Betsy Rader outraises David Joyce, doubles fundraising in Q3
Rader has raised $1.75 million as of the end of September

Novelty, OH – On Monday, Betsy Rader’s campaign announced that they had raised $714,646 in the 3rd quarter of 2018, outraising Congressman David Joyce, and more than doubling her 2nd quarter total of $348,702. As of the end of September, Rader’s campaign has raised a total of $1,749,880 since the start of the campaign.

“I’m incredibly proud of our grassroots volunteers and contributors who have put us in a strong position to win this race; today’s fundraising numbers are a reflection of the support we’re experiencing with voters on the ground,” said Betsy Rader. “Early in this campaign, I decided to reject corporate PAC contributions because we need to get big special interest money out of our politics. Instead, our campaign is powered by ordinary people coming together and supporting our shared vision–it’s one of the many reason why I’m confident that we’re poised for victory on November 6th.”

In February, Betsy Rader took the No Corporate PAC Pledge, citing the “corrosive impact that corporate special interests have in our democracy.” Congressman Joyce has taken over $1.4 million from corporate PACs.
